American swamp blues singer, guitarist and keyboard player, also known as Rockin' Tabby Thomas. Born January 5, 1929 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, died January 1, 2014 in the the same city, aged 84. Father of [a=Chris Thomas King], owner of Tabby's Blues Box club in Baton Rouge, which existed between 1979 and 2004.
