A. Michael Collins is a multi-instrumentalist (mostly a drummer) with roots in the indie/power-pop vein. He was born and raised in Norman, OK. After spending time in Seattle, he now lives in Los Angeles. While a versatile musician and fan and many musical styles, his own songs draw from the Big Star/Posies/Teenage Fanclub playbook with doses of heartland alt-roots, Jay Bennett-era Wilco and the scrappy, ragged-but-right Paul Westerberg.
