Julia León

Spanish singer, composer and arranger. Cofounder of “Canción del Pueblo” musical movement in the late 60s (Julia León, [a=Elisa Serna], [a=Adolfo Celdrán] and [a=Hilario Camacho]). He arranged poems by Lorca, Miguel Hernández, Neruda, Nicolás Guillen, León Felipe, Machado... and also composed songs. In 2000 she turn to Sephardic music and has released some albums arranging popular Jewdish songs. She's sister of [a=Rosa León].
