Jimmy Radcliffe

American Soul singer, songwriter, producer, guitarist and multi-organist In 1965 he became the first African-American performing artist to write, produce and sing commercial jingles for the advertising industry. He was a writing partner to [a=Buddy Scott] in the late 60's. Born: November 18, 1936 in Harlem, New York Died: July 27, 1973 in the Bronx, New York (complications from a kidney removal surgery)
