Victor Axelrod

Musician, producer and recording engineer from Brooklyn, New York. From the mid-1990s, he has worked primarily in the genres of reggae, Afrobeat and soul, recording and producing under his own name and the alias [a=Ticklah], a nickname given to him early in his career by [a=Jeff Baker] aka [a=King Django]. He became a founding member of [a=Antibalas] and [a=Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings] after meeting musicians [a=Martin Perna] and [a=Gabriel Roth] in the late 1990s. Member of Cooly's Hot Box (1998-2002), Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings (1998-2002) and Antibalas (1999-2012). Runs [l=Don't Trip Studio].
