Josh Swift

American session bluegrass, country, and gospel dobro player and drummer. Born September 25, 1986. Began playing drums at 2 years old, eventually traveling with his family on the Southern Gospel circuit. When he was 16, Gibson Guitars gave him his first dobro. At 17, Josh played with a local group called Set Apart. At 18, he joined [a3838039]. At 19, Swift was invited to play with DLQ at what turned out to be a showcase at Int'l Bluegrass Music Association. Doyle hired Josh that night on October 5, 2007.
