Deep and Minimal House: Having released their brilliant deephouse debut ­"ism", [a=Yoshino] and [a=Tim Bernhardt] of Lorenzo put out another multispherical masterpiece: "esque" combines the playful nature of their debut with a somehow ambitious sense for lightness. The new album is packed with chillful sounds, refreshing beats and the astonishing vocals of [a=Linda Mathews], who joins the former duo on ­esque. Thanks to Mathew's inspiring contributions, Lorenzo's second full length CD presents itself as a collection of deepest dancetracks mingled with vocalbased housesongs like "Moonsun" (most likely to be nominated for an airplay-career...) . The first single "music", however, exemplifies classical dimensions of lorenzoesque songwriting: devoted to the dancefloor, yet sophisticated and with a trace of stylish mannerism. "Phon" is set to further define Lorenzo's popularity with driving grooves and in addition to [a=Linda Mathews], surprise guestvocals such as Darrin Huss from the Wave legend PSYCHE on two club tracks.
