Mike Stricklin

Saxophonist in Nineveh, Indiana. He also plays clarinet and flute. Stricklin grew up in Denton, Texas and attended the University Of North Texas (North Texas State University) from 1975 to 1978. After finishing college he toured with R&B, jazz and pop groups before settling in Dallas, Texas. There, he played with Red Garland, James Clay, Marshall Ivory, David 'Fathead' Newman, Zu-Zu Bolin,The Sax Maniacs, and the Dallas Jazz Orchestra as well as working as a session musician. He moved to Indianapolis in 1989 where he formed the band TimeOut and in 1997 released his own album.
