Zulu Soundsystem

Zulu Soundsystem was a DJ Crew founded in Cologne Germany in the early 90ies by Ivo Nikolov aka Mr Suicide and Frederik Hahn aka Torch/Haitian Star. Around 94 Mr Suicide left Germany and opened an Australian Chapter with DJ Danielson & MC Hau. In Germany Torch teamed uo with DJ Boulevard Bou for several Years. Torch/DJ Haitian Star also released several DJ Mix Tapes and produced Songs under the Zulu Soundsystem Moniker. The Name is inspired through the Influence of Zulu Nation DJ's like Afrika Bambaataa, Afrika Islam, Jazzy Jay, Grandmixer D.St, Jimmy Jaz, and others.
