Dean Boysen

Trumpeter, composer and arranger, Dean also serves as the Artistic Director for BRAZZISSIMO! (10-piece brass ensemble), He is Principal Trumpet for The Diablo Symphony Orchestra (2018-) and performs regularly with the California Pops Orchestra, Gabriel's Heraldic Trio, and The Musical Toy Soldiers. Dean composes and arranges music for big band, brass and woodwind wind chamber ensembles and orchestra. Performance and writing genres include: Jazz, Funk/Soul, Latin, Pops, Classical and Brass Chamber music.
