Julio Moura

Julio Moura, is an argentine composer, guitarist, bassist, vocalist and keyboard player. Better known for being the main composer of Argentine's rock/pop group VIRUS. Julio started his career playing in "Marabunta", jointly with his brother Marcelo Moura (keyboard player of Virus and Aguirre) and Pablo Tapia (frontman of group Aguirre). After this experience, Moura formed "Duro", which afterwards became "Virus" in the early 80's. In 1990, virus spliced after the death of Julio's brother, and frontman of the band, Federico Moura, in 1988. He then was going to take part of "Aguirre" but this did not happen. He formed with Alfredo Peria the group "Limbo", which only released one record in 1992 (Ruidos en el Cielo). "Virus" attempted various reunions, but finally splited in 2016, after Julio's decision of not wanting to take place any more of the Virus project. After a long silence as a composer, he came back to the scene with his record "Enigma 4", released in 2017.
