Goran Vejvoda

Goran Vejvoda is multimedia artist (composer, visual & sound artist), born in London. After studying music in Belgrade and participating in that city's rock and art scene in the late seventies and early eighties, he moved to Paris and turned to contemporary music and art. Guitarist with various rock bands ('[a=Kozmetika]', 'Annoda Rouge', '[a=Idoli]' in former Yugoslavia and '[a=Oko 3]' in France), he has worked with renowned comics artist and filmmaker Enki Bilal composing the soundtracks of his feature films "Tykho Moon" and "Immortel". For the choreographer Angelin Preljocaj he composed music for the productions at the Paris Opera, "Le Parc" and "Casanova" and "Romeo & Juliette" for the Lyon Opera. GV has released several solo albums in Japan, "Fruit Cloud" and "Harmonie," and cosigned a record with [a=Suba], "The Dreambird". Other records include "Mikro-Organizmi" with [a=Rambo Amadeus] and "What" with [a=ZerOne]. GV contributes to magazines such as the Wire and Vibrö. He has exhibited since 1981. Most recently he performed at Beaubourg and Palais de Tokyo and participated in the exhibition "Off The Record" at the Musée D'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
