Antonio Bacciocchi

Antonio Bacciocchi a.k.a. Tony Face: drummer, percussionist, records producer, prime movers of the Italian mod movement (the 1st italian Mod), journalist and also writer, blogger, musical events manager, radio DJ. He was the drummer of the hardcore punk band Chelsea Hotel (1979/1983) and Not Moving (1982/1988), one of the most important Italian underground rock bands during the 80s; from 1990 to 1998 he played with [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/1222715-Lilith-15]Lilith[/url] (folk blues punk cabaret) and Lilith And The Sinnersaints from 2007. Drummer and percussionist with the hammondbeat band The Link Quartet, he also played with Time Pills (1989), The Hermits (1996), [a=Statuto] and a lot of other bands. Tony produced about 50 records and worked with Sony, Emi, Cecchi Gori Music, Ricordi, RAI, Mediaset and founded the labels [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/144593-Face-Records-5]Face Records[/url] and Audiar Produzioni. He also directed gigs of international artists like Manu Chao, Marc Ribot, Koop, Ivano Fossati, Kocani Orchestra, Solarflares, Moment, Rage, Direct Hits, CCM, Raw Power and tons of other Italian bands. As Chef Manager he joined the crew of Tendenze Rock Festival for 10 editions, of multicultural festival Pulcheria for 5 years and of the world music festival Terra Madre twice. He DJed for 10 years on Quarta Radio. Tony's first book has been realised on May 2007 with the title “Uscito vivo dagli anni '80" (Out alive from the 80’s).
