Adam Cohen

Canadian musician, singer and songwriter, born 18 September 1972 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Son of [a=Leonard Cohen] and brother of [a1848518]. At age 12, Adam started playing music and by age 15, he had grown serious enough to consider himself a fully-fledged musician. His influences ranged from Steely Dan to Sting to Stevie Wonder. On the strength of his ability as a songwriter, singer, guitarist and keyboardist, Adam was signed to Sony Music in 1996. His self-titled debut album was released in 1998 and a French language album followed in 2004. In 2005, Adam became lead singer of the Los Angeles based band the [a314220] and featured on their debut album 'Ex-Girlfriends'.
