Mike Newberry

Drummer from the Midwest. Newberry was the drummer for the band Fortune Tellers, followed by a stint with roots-rock band the Ban-Lons. He joined San Diego band Forbidden Pigs for a few tours before returning to the Midwest to form The Deviants with Scott Keeton. Other bands and artists he has drummed for include Watermelon Slim & The Workers, Brilliant, The Hellhounds, Dos Lobos, Gravedigger, Lazy J Walker, Otis Watkins, J.D. Thompson & The Big Bad Wolves, Bill Lupkin, The Painkillers, Ike Lamb & The Creepers, The Reverb Brothers, Bob Margolin, Carey Bell, Hubert Sumlin and Robert Lockwood Jr.
