Fred van der Hilst

Fred van der Hilst (Rotterdam, 1946) is a Dutch actor. Van der Hilst graduated from the Theaterschool in Amsterdam in 1970. From 1986 to 1990 he was director of the film and music theater LantarenVenster in Rotterdam. In 1989 he received the Erasmus pin in Rotterdam. However, he is best known as an actor. He played in the Den Uyl TV series and the Lockheed affair, among other things, and is a much sought after Sinterklaas. In that role he can be seen in the adventure film Sinterklaas & Pakjesboot 13 and in the children's series Slot Marsepeinstein. In addition, Van der Hilst was also seen as Sint in 2013 in the television program Welkom Sinterklaas, which took place in Elburg and was broadcast by Nickelodeon. Fred was the first drummer of the Golden Earrings (1962-1965) in high school.
