William Duckworth

Composer, performer, author and teacher born in North Carolina in 1943. He died on September 13, 2012. Duckworth studied at the University of Illinois with [a=Ben Johnston]. He taught at Bucknell University from 1973 to 2011. One of his notable books was "Talking Music" which featured Duckworth in conversation with John Cage, Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson and others.
