Dove is a Portuguese trash metal band from Porto, formed in 1988 by Augusto Peixoto on drums, José Ribeiro on guitar and José Alberto on bass, then later joined by César on vocals, the group has several line-up changes, in 1992 they record their first demo "Deadly Human Race" with Sérgio Gouveia on vocals, Rodolfo from [a=W.C. Noise] on guitar, Dário on bass and Augusto on drums, Rodolfo does not stay long and group welcomes two new guitarists Paulo and Miguel, it is with this line-up that they record their 1992 demo-tape "Reborn To Return" in the following year Miguel leaves and is replaced by Celso and in 1994 the group records their 3rd demo "Dum Spiro Spero", in 1995 the group released their 4th demo with a new vocalist Luís Tinoco and disbands shortly after. In 2014 Augusto Peixoto self-releases a compilation of the four demos titled "Memoriam Antiquam" and then in the following year 20 years after the group last recording Augusto decides to revive the project to record an album featuring Pedro Gouveia once again vocals and Henrique Loureiro former bandmate on [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/2789416]Cycles[/url] on guitar, the record is titled "The Cruelty That Enclosures" was released on October 2018.
