Boudewijn De Groot

Dutch folk singer/songwriter born on May 20, 1944, Jakarta (Indonesia). In highschool he met [a=Lennaert Nijgh] with whom he wrote several hits for himself but also for [a=Liesbeth List], [a=Ramses Shaffy], [a=Rob De Nijs], ... He also produced artists and bands like [a=Rowwen Hèze]. He's the father of [a=Marcel De Groot] and [a=Jim de Groot]. Performed the character [a=Tsjechov] in the 1992 version of the "Tsjechov" musical.
