Edwin Alvarado

Edwin Alvarado Aguilar was born on October 3 in the Saposoa district, department of San Martín, in Peru. The teacher Alvarado discovered his vocation as a child musician, the bases of the guitar and the piano he learned for a year in a private school. In high school, she was part of the estudiantina, in which she sang and played the guitar. Edwin Alvarado studied Medicine at the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. He graduated as a doctor and attended the specialty of Cardiology in Mexico. His first composition was a waltz he wrote to his Faculty in 1967. He turned to the music world in Peru as an interpreter of his songs, recording for Philips records. As an author, his first work he recorded in acetate was "Guitarra Toca Otra Vez", performed in 1972 by Buddy Richard for Odeón de Chile albums. From then on, the central axis of his work is the romantic. The work of Edwin is rooted in the need to express their feelings, as he says, inspired by the experiences. Some of the interpreters of his compositions are: Estela Núñez, Roberto Jordán, Los Yonic's, Ana Bárbara, Los Ángeles Negros, Rigo Tovar, Campeche Show, Chayito Valdez, Guadalupe Esparza and Palmenia Pizarro
