Smoke and Mirrors was an Erie, PA - Lake Effect Hardcore band from 2007-2013. S&M featured the unique voice and lyrics of Dave Vogt who was the singer from Problem Solver Revolver, Seven Stitches, & New Noise. Accompanied by the intricately melodic but heavy guitar work from Jon Molnar (Years From Now & Problem Solver) and Joe Nolan (Digression, Who Bleeds First, Shockwave, & Save Yourself). On bass / back up vocals was Eric M. Schauffele (aka EMS) from Brother’s Keeper and now vocals for Human Animal. Drummer Patrick Bolla (PSR, Seven Stitches, This American Song, & No Comply) lended his signature breakneck fast parts and crushing heavy filled mid tempo grooves. To complete their final album “Flagship” in 2012 Dustin Wilkinson came on board bringing in his articulate bass lines and high quality low end work.
