Buried Heart Project

One-off merging of artists as a tribute to women who suffer daily from the abuses of drug addiction and life on the street. The song "Streets Where You Live" was conceived and written in March 2002. The song was inspired by the more than 60 women who had gone missing from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood since the early 1980s. Many of these women were victims of Robert Pickton, the infamous 'Pig Farmer Serial Killer'. Profits from the sale of the recording and related merchandise will go to the Buried Hearts Society, a not-for-profit organization created to raise awareness and improve the lives of disadvantaged and abused women and youth.
