Ragnhildur Gísladóttir

Icelandic composer, vocalist and actress b. 1956.10.07. She started her career as a solo artist in the early 70's and put out her first album in 1976, was a member of bands such as Brunaliðið, Lummurnar and Brimkló in the latter half of the 70's. Founded Grýlurnar in 1981, was then a member of Strax, Stuðmenn and the Human Body Orchestra during the 80's but in the 90's turned to acting but found time to lead Ragga And The Jack Magic Orchestra. Was for a time married to [a=Jakob Magnússon].
