Hans Ulrich Humpert

German composer (born October 9, 1940 in Paderborn; died August 29, 2010 in Stadtkreis Köln). The pioneer of electronic music studied electronic music at the Cologne University of Music. He has been a lecturer at the university since 1968 and a professor since 1972. In addition to Karlheinz Stockhausen, Humpert also looked after the WDR studio for electronic music and gave the younger studio at the Cologne University of Music a lot of the necessary know-how. He headed the university's studio until 2007.
