Born: May 30, 1908, San Francisco, California Died: July 10, 1989, Los Angeles, California For 50 years, Mel Blanc was the voice of many popular cartoon characters including [a=Bugs Bunny], [a=Daffy Duck], [a=Porky Pig (2)], [a=Foghorn Leghorn], [a=The Tasmanian Devil], [a=Pepé Le Pew], [a=Marvin The Martian (2)], [a=Roadrunner (4)] the signature "Meep! Meep!"), [a=Barney Rubble (4)], and [a=Woody Woodpecker (2)]. [a=Joe Alaskey] took over many of the voice roles until his own death in 2016.
