José Velásquez (2)

Bassist who was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on April 22, 1950. Member of a musician family, his father José Velásquez Sr. was a sax player and gave him his first music lessons. When he was a child, Velásquez joined to very popular venezuelan children choir [a5583886]. During the 1970s he was a required bassist from recording studios as well as a accompanient for many artists in public and TV shows. "El Patúo" as is best known in the musical environment has worked with [a1340491], [a= Mirla Castellanos], [a=El Trabuco Venezolano] and [a=Soledad Bravo], with this last one, as bassist and musical director.
