Charley Deanesi

Italian songwriter, singer and guitarist born in Trento. HE plays at guitar since the age of nine years. He has worked with most of the regional bands and later with internationally renowned musicians as Ginger Baker, Mike Ogletree (Simple Minds), Alberto Radius, Patrick Djivas (Area, PFM). As a songwriter he won the festival Castrocaro in 1986 and later participated in the Sanremo Festival, under contract with [l23175] owned by [a924805]. After the festival of San Remo he met the producer [a270262] who proposed him a contract but he decided to keep the word given to Caterina Caselli. Unfortunately it was not a good choice, because soon he terminated the collaboration with [l23175]. In 1978 he founded ''Big Fun'' band alongside Carlo Grasselli and Giulio Marino. Later joined Sergio Decarli (drums), Edo Bordignon (keyboards), replaced by Tony Virgillito and Renzo Vigagni. At the end of 1983, Charley Deanesi goes to solo career and ''Big Fun'' was disbanded. Since 2000 he teaches modern guitar at CDM (The Coalition for Disabled Musicians) in Rovereto.
