Kaoru Koga

Kaoru Koga was a Japanese experimental musician, a one-off member of the controversial noise band [a78487]. Kaoru recorded with [a2640038] and the band's leader [a=Juntaro Yamanouchi] on a few occasions in the mid-nineties. In 1995, two artists participated in the 'Metal Action' (essentially, abusing a bunch of rusty metal junk to create a wall of harsh noise) during the studio live session that later became "Symphony for a New Age Destruction"—one of the bonus tracks on '95 [r=707300] CD reissue of the Gerogerigegege's debut 7" single. The same composition appeared on a white label [r=248822] 7" released the same year by American label [l=Vinyl Communications]. Kaoru Koga also recorded ~40 sec long "cover" of Throbbing Gristle's 'Discipline,' performed by Motohiko Satoh and Juntaro in Aug '96 at Kōenji district in Tokyo, and released on [r=4760162] 7" compilation by Norwegian [l12675] in 1997.
