Bodh'aktan

Canadian traditional music group, based in Québec, which fuses elements of Irish, Celtic, Québécois, Maritime and Breton music with hard rock, country, polka and punk. The name is inspired by a Gaelic term for fishermen's boots, and the French pronunciation for the famous Acton boots (Botte Acton). Members are : - Alexandre Richard: vocals, acoustic guitar, bouzouki. - Alain Barriault: electric and acoustic guitars, vocals. - Ben Claveau: vocals, bass. - Marc-Etienne Richard: violin, vocals. - Éric Gousy: drums, vocals. - Éric Tanguay: accordion, electric guitar, vocals. - Luc Bourgeois: bagpipes, flute, electric guitar, vocals.
