Jack Toney

Jack Toney (born August 24, 1933, Sand Mountain, Boaz, Alabama, USA - died April 15, 2004) was an American vocalist and songwriter. In 1962 he sang with [a2844354]. In November 1963, he joined [a2733477] as lead singer, he continued in this role until he left in 1969. In 1987 he joined [a2747036]. The group name was retired in 1988, however some of the members went on to reform [a274357]. He continued to perform with this group for several years until he retired from singing.
