PAFF

PAFF is a Polish music project, the initiator of which was Włodek Kiniorski. After leaving Tie Break, Kiniorski decided to establish his own formation to express his artistic vision and experiment with new sounds. He managed to engage musicians such as Leszek Biolik, Amadeusz Majerczyk, Piotr Wolski, Krzysztof Głuch, and Tadeusz Sudnik. The first vocalist of the band was Jacek Bieleński. The name of the band comes from a fascination with the peacock ("paw" in Polish) - a bird that in Buddhist culture symbolizes the ability to transform poison into medicine. Due to the negative associations with the word "paw" in Polish language, Kiniorski decided to change the name to "PAFF". The group was inextricably linked to the town of Wyśmierzyce, where Paweł Biernacki, the director of the local Cultural Center, provided the band with ideal conditions for rehearsals and continuous experimentation with music.
