Lux Occulta

Lux Occulta was formed in Poland in 1994 by Peter (guitar) and G'Ames (guitar), both of Blaspherion and Jaro Slav (vocals) of Haemorrhage. They were soon joined by Jackie (bass), Aemil (drums) and U.Reck (keyboard). In 1995 they recorded their one and only demo entitled "The Forgotten Arts" and they were soon signed to Pagan Records. Same year they also performed for the first time. In 1996 the record label released their demo and shortly after the band enteres Manek Studio to record their first full-length album "Forever Alone. Immortal". After the recordings Aemil was forced to leave as he was not interested in the music anymore. He was replaced by Kriss one week later. In 1997 they were part of a mini-tour that took place in Germany. They played together with Forsth and Shadows Toward My Sky. After the tour they entered the studio to record their second album "Dionysos". In 1998 G'Ames and Jackie are replaced by Vogg and Martin of Decapitated. G'Ames got married and left the music business while Jackie joined the Black Metal band Holy Death. The band then embarked on a small tour in Poland with Damnation and Sacriversum and after that a bigger tour with Christ Agony and Hate. Pagan Records then released the limited edition MCD "Maior Arcana (The Words That Turn Flesh Into Light)" which was followed by the album "My Guardian Anger" in 1999. In 2001 the band started recording the album "The Mother and the Enemy" but during the recording Kriss left the band and was replaced by sessions drummer Gerard Niemczyk. The album was eventually released same year. It is unknown whether or not they have put the band to an end since they've been inactive for quite a while now.
