Czerwony Tulipan

Polish band and cabaret from Olsztyn, established in 1985. The repertoire includes sung poetry, lyrical songs and satire. Since the beginning the band consisted of: Ewa Cichocka (vocals), Krystyna Świątecka (vocals), Stefan Brzozowski (vocals, acoustic guitar, artistic director), and changing musicians. Initially there also played Artur Glory (violinist) and Mirosław Łukawski (pianist). In 1992 he joined the band of Andrzej Czamara (acoustic guitar) and in 2002 Andrew Dondalski (bassist with rock pedigree). Czerwony Tulipan origins dating back to the seventies and the student band "Niebo", which was created in March 1972 in Olsztyn. In the same year Stefan Brzozowski among others joined the band . The band has performed at the National Meetings "Let's Sing Poetry" in Olsztyn. In 1978 team members also created a group "Bonieq" (read "BoNieQ") (1977), "Kart" (1979), "Ex" (1979). After graduation, some members of "Niebo" created Czerwony Tulipan. Group was awarded Personality of the Year Warmia and Mazury, 2003.
