Punk rock band from the United States originally formed in 1989 as a part-time side project by lead singer, [a=Dave Smalley] with help from [a=Dave Naz] and [a=Ed Urlik] of the [a=Chemical People]. Smalley took Down By Law on as a full time career and replaced the members of the Chemical People with a full-time line up.
