Μαριάνθη Κεφάλα

Marianthi Kefala is a Greek singer, born in 1953 at Kastra area, Thessaloniki. Daughter of [a2511761] (= Stelios Niros "Kefalas"). At 14 years old, she started working as a carer at a retirement home. One day, a singer named [a7107621] (=Giorgos Kabourelos) came to see a relative and heard Kefala singing as she used to at her free time. He suggested to become a professional singer and leave her job as a carer. Around 1969, at 15 years old, started singing professionally and after 6 months, she recorded her first 7" single.
