Buffalo (8)

Danish country rock band including members that had been in, and would go on to form the core of several better known rock bands. Formed 1970 as "Free the Buffallo". By 1974 the band included [a=Henrik Littauer], [a=Peter Viskinde] (Both later in [a=Malurt]), [a=René Evald], [a=Preben Feddersen] (former [a=Delta Blues Band], Peter McKay and US born [a=Steve Rosenthal (3)]. After recording their self-titled debut in 1975 McKay left and was replaced by Søren Engel (former [a=Delta Blues Band]. He and Feddersen would leave in 1976 to reenact Delta Blues Band. They we substituted by german [a=Dietmar Schmidt], US Gene Sarazen and [a=Bent Malinovsky]. In 1977 this line-up recorded "Shut up'n Play", released in Germany as "Rockin' Country Music. Following this Viskinde left to form [a=Hvalsøspillemændene].
