Nick Mason

British drummer (born January 27, 1944 in Birmingham, United Kingdom), most famous as founding member of [a=Pink Floyd] in 1965. He is the only group member to have performed on each and every one of their albums. In 2018, he formed [a6711335] to perform Pink Floyd's early psychedelic material, prior to Dark Side Of The Moon. He's also famous for being a car fanatic and has published 3 books about cars (with Mark Hales) and one about Pink Floyd. He has collaborated with a number of jazz musicians, e.g. [a250036] or [a5049], and has produced a number of albums for other acts. [i]Do not confuse with the much younger American session drummer and percussionist with the name Nick Mason.[/i]
