Loony (4)

Japanese vocalist. He was in the early hardcore punk band in Osaka called Mohawks which consisted of future members of Mobs, City Indian, Cobra, Tetsu Arrey, Baws, F.O.A.D., Geizz, Laughin' Nose etc. (they were Shin, Kenji, Jotaro Takagi, Yosu-ko, Dreamy Mango and Wang-Tang) After relocating to Tokyo, Loony joined [a=The Trash (2)] replacing their original singer [a=Masami (2)] when they were still a hardcore band around 1983. After his brief stint in The Trash, he formed an Oi/Punk band Baws with [a=Wang-Tang] and [a=Tatsushi] around 1984. It's important to note that the early Trash and Baws played many of the songs that were originally played by Mohawks. Baws disbanded within a year or so, then Loony formed [a=Last Bomb] with former Ghoul bassist [a=Bear Bomb] in the late 1984 or 1985, but left the band before their 1986 second EP release. He had relocated to Nagoya at some point during the early '90s and formed a punk band called Ranxerox with a bass player Fukami who'd later form [a=Roughtrade]. Ranxerox also played some of the Baws songs.
