Mixed Media

Swedish song group, with feminist influences, that was formed in Malmö in 1974. The group was awarded the "överraskningspriset" (surprise prize) to an unestablished artist / group at the Visfestivalen in Västervik in 1976. The group's original members were Elisabeth Barkstedt, Kersti Olin, Lena Olin and Ingalill Persson-Dunsö. The first album also featured Dan Gisen Malmquist, Ale Möller and Peps Persson, among others. Kersti Olin left the group after the first record and was replaced by Ellen Olterman. Their records were originally released on Dan Tillberg's then record label Bellatrix. Tillberg reissued Mixed media in 2006 on his new short-lived record company, which by the way was called Mixed media music.
