Trilobite is a sludge metal ensemble based in the United States. The group's rotating roster is anchored by guitarists [a=Rob Murray (2)] and [a=Alexander Toulas] but has most recently also included [a=Eric Hernandez] ([a=Kylesa], [a=Capsule]) and [a=Billy Anderson] (ex-[a=Melvins], [a=Blessing the Hogs]). Though completely instrumental, their music still poignantly chronicles the themes of geology, morphology, competitive evolution, and astronomy.The unique blend of styles and influences of each member creates a sound that is both driving and catchy, while still heavy and crushing.
