The Parachute Band

The Parachute Band was a Christian worship band from Auckland, New Zealand, formed out of the New Zealand-based Christian organisation [l=Parachute Music]. The band made pop/rock music. The first line-up was formed in 1995 to perform at the Parachute Festival. The original line-up, led by [a=Wayne Huirua], [a=Libby Huirua] and [a=Chris de Jong (2)], released seven studio albums.
