David Harvey (4)
Tennessee based mandolin player, fiddler, and guitarist. He is also a master luthier for Gibson, where he oversees their production of mandolins, banjos, and dobros. Harvey began touring with [a=Red Allen (2)]. In the late 1970s he joined [a=Larry Sparks And The Lonesome Ramblers]. In the eighties, he formed The Wild and Blue Band with his wife, Jan and her sister, Jill Snider. In 2004 Harvey launched the Moody Bluegrass project as a tribute to The Moody Blues, playing their songs in bluegrass style.
