Markus Kienzl

Markus Kienzl is a musician, producer, and film composer, best known as co-founder of the Austrian band "Sofa Surfers". In 1999, he released his solo-debut EP "TILT" on Klein Records. His first full length album "Product" in 2005 featured the single "Dundy Lion feat Paul St. Hilaire," later licensed for the Rockstar Game "Midnight-Club LA." From 2006 on, Kienzl got more into producing music for films and series. In 2009, he produced Tania Saedi's "Exhale" and released his second solo album "Density." He was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2010 and for a Grammy in 2015. He's a member of the Academy of Austrian Films and has been nominated for the Austrian Film Prize twice.
