Deesse Mukangi
Congolese vocalist (b: 21 April 1969, Kisangani) She joins the band [a=Orchestre Anti-Choc] in 1988, where she sings duos and trios with its bandleader, [a=Bozi Boziana]. One of the most notable recordings in Deesse's career, La Reine De Sabah, performed alongside [a=Jolie Detta] and Boziana. She quits in 1991 to start her solo career, with her debut album The Little Goddess in 1992. Much later, she will convert to Christianism and rename herself as Soeur Kimia and settles in the US.
