Jake Smith (6)

Jake Smith is an American multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer and music producer from the Bay Area. Was the guitarist for punk band Crucifix in the mid-eighties, was also part of one of the first line-ups of Faith No More, then played guitar in the reggae band Vince Black & The Crucial, in the late-eighties joined the R&B/funk band The Snapp as their drummer and started rapping as One Take Jake, moved to Los Angeles and started producing acts such as [a=Tara Kemp], he also played guitar for the ska band [a=Bad Manners] on their 2010 and 2011 US tours and played drums for Bradley Dean & The Terminals. One of his first production gigs was for the punk band [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/642909]Trial[/url] in the early-eighties, he then produced several RnB acts and spent some time in Los Angeles where he frequently collaborated with [a=Tuhin Roy], he has recently also recorded some punk and rock bands and spent some time in New York. Some of the acts he has produced include [a=Calavera], [a=The Woolly Bandits], [a=Kevin K], and The Flamethrowers.
