Fabulous Four

Swedish pop group formed in 1964 in Stockholm and dissolved in 1968. The band debuted in 1965 with the single "Boom Boom" and first broke through in Italy with their own song "After All". In 1966, the group's first and only studio album After All was released and the band broke through in Sweden in the autumn of the same year with "Puff The Magic Dragon" which went straight into Tio in the top first place. "Island in the Sun", "Rhythm of the Rain" and "Don't Go Out into the Rain" also made it into the Swedish Tio i topp first place. The success of "After All" led to the group being offered to write the film music for Jan Halldoff's film Life is rock fun. The band is considered one of the largest Swedish pop groups of the 1960s. With the exception of Italy, they did not succeed abroad. The group was dissolved in 1968.
