Art Kahn's Orchestra

Chicago-based band which was among some of the early jazz groups associated with the "Jazz Age" during the Roaring Twenties. Kahn's band also recorded with other artists such as singer Ruth Etting, including her 1926 version of "Hello, Baby". Later (in the 1930s) this name was also used as a pseudonym on Melotone and associated labels for various groups having little or no actual connection with Art Kahn. Art Kahn and His Orchestra appear in the film "Gags and Gals" (1936).
