Bana OK

On January 4, 1994 in Brussels, Simaro Lutumba, Ndombe Opetum and Josky Kiambukuta decided to found Bana OK. With Shakembo, Makoso, Papy Balay, Endo and Elba Kuluma, the orchestra chaired by "the poet" Simaro assisted by Josky (vice president) releases in the wake of "Bakitani" and "Cabinet Molili", two albums with rumba - odemba beats - sébéné - soukouss - ndombolo who have enjoyed enormous success with their audiences, especially that of the Grand Baobab, a bar in Kinshasa where they officiate every evening from 6 p.m. Soon. The death of guitarists Ntesa Dalienst in 1996 and that of Gerry Dialungana in 2002 will strike the formation.
