The idea of ASP originated sometime in 1999 by Keith Palumbo ([a=Gomez (4)], [a=Fourth Grade Nothing], [a=Sea Of Thousand]). While working at Waterloo Records in Austin, TX, Keith met Chris Cline; with nothing but song titles and ideas for over 2 years, Chris moved back to his place of birth and the project was put off until 2002. After spending a couple of days in the studio working on the music, Keith and Chris recruited Craig Moore ([a=Employer, Employee], [a=Sea of Thousand]) for the vocals.
