Nadanuf

[b]90's Rap/R&B Duo[/b] Nadanuf was a female rap duo from Cincinatti, Ohio that consisted of members Deena “Sweet Diggety” Philpot and Megan “Phor-One-One” Standifer. They were discovered in Cincinatti by music producer Aaron “Babyboy” Griffin who helped the duo get a record contract with Reprise Records. n 1997, Nadanuf released their self-titled debut album. Their first single, a cover version of Kurtis Blow’s “The Breaks” (featuring Kurtis Blow himself) peaked at #115 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, #11 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart, and #58 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart in November of 1997, staying on the chart for 20 weeks. Nadanuf’s second single, “6 AM (We Be Rollin’) peaked at #102 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, #21 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart, and #55 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart in March of 1998, staying on the chart for 16 weeks. Another song, “Single Life” appeared on the “Living Single” television soundtrack.
